A Kibera pastor has urged youths to shun as drugs and immorality.
The call comes amid concerns that a majority of youths have lost direction, hence the need to change their lifestyles.
The area is suffering from all manner of things that come with informal settlements, key among them, drugs, crime and immorality.
This worrying trend has attracted a lot of attention from the government, clergy and society at large.
In this regard, Pastor Moses Kisilu of Pentecostal Assemblies of God Ministry in Kibera used the first Sunday of 2016 to preach against the drugs and alcohol menace in the area.
He said he is worried a lot whenever he meets a young man who is drunk and with ambitions which are visibly shattered.
He said the only way out of the tragedy is for youths to preoccupy themselves with constructive ideas which will have meaningful impacts on their lives.
"Please live a righteous life devoid of drugs and all those things that will make you separated from God. Have a purposeful life and be prayerful," he said.
