Kiambu county deputy commissioner Nobert Komora has warned criminals planning to cause havoc in the county this festive season saying that they will be dealt with accordingly.

Speaking to this Hivisasa writer at Ndumberi trading center on Sunday, Komora said that enough security measures have been put in place to guarantee safety of residents this christmas season.

“As law enforcers, we are prepared and determined to provide security to all citizens this festive season and we are not going to allow criminals room to cause havoc,” he said.

The deputy commissioner said that more police officers will be deployed across the county to ensure law and order.

Mr. Komora asked residents to cooperate with the police in a bid to tame crime. He said that members of the public have to play their role as well if crime is to be tamed.

Komora insisted on the need for residents to adopt and embrace the Nyumba Kumi security initiative saying that security in the county will be beefed up if locals collaborate with law enforcers.

The deputy county commissioner further urged local administrators to work closely with the police since a close cooperation between local chiefs and the police will help combat crime especially in local areas.

He also urged residents to be vigilant and report instances of criminal activities to law enforcers for immediate action.
