Kibera bodaboda operators have been told to take the time to know each other in a bid to foster the security of their business.

Addressing bodaboda operators at Laini Saba area on Friday afternoon, the stage secretary, Geoffrey Bichobe said that operators should relate well with each other to improve the security of their business as the business is risky at times, especially during the night.

“For you to have a peaceful business, you need to know each other. As bodaboda riders we should take security matters seriously to conduct a safe business,’’ he said.

He also noted that some bodaboda operators from other places operate at night in Kibera in order to engage in illegal activities.

"It has been noticed that some people pretend that they are riders but their target is to steal our motorbikes. Let us know each other and once a new person comes to the stage let us try to investigate that person well," added Bichobe.
