Mavoko member of national assembly Patrick Makau King'ola was on February 27, 2016 commissioned to open a new school at Katani, Muthwani ward in Mavoko.

Speaking during the inauguration of Ngalalya primary school, the Mp said that it was built under Amara Charitable Trust (ACT) a group whose main agenda is to do charity work for Kenyan people.

"It's my joy to open the new school. There has been challenges but we need to thank God the project has been completed in the required planned time," said king'ola.

He said that the best thing society needs is more and more schools which should be available to all pupils to avoid them walking for long distances which make some drop out of school.

King'ola thanked the charity organization and urged stakeholders to continue with the same vein.

He vowed to feed the library with enough books which he encouraged pupils and teachers to make good use of.
