However, Kisii County is on the spot again by leading in examination irregularities in Nyanza region for the second year in a row.

Kisii school, which had 191 cases of exam maltipractices in 2014 recorded no case having all its students receiving their results.

According to reports, the county has 294 cases of cheating, while its six sub-counties being involved in cheating, although it was a drop compared to 490 cases in 2014 examinations. 

Siaya and Nyamira Counties, which recorded no cases of cheating in 2014 examinations, were on the spot this time where they recorded 134 and 80 cases respectively. 

According to Siaya County Director of Education, Nerea Olick, two schools were involved in cheating, Sega Girls and Usenge boys. 

"We have to investigate, being clean in 2014 then 134 cases is not something to take lightly," she said on Friday. However she congratulated schools that did well.
