Kisii Leaders have been advised to maintain hygiene by making sure there is enough water in all schools.
According to the Kisii community clinical officer, Kepha King’oina school managements should install water tanks so that students can get enough water to wash their hands after visiting toilets.
“Most of our children in schools get infected with some diseases due to lack of proper hygiene. We would like to advise all school management to make sure that proper hygiene is well maintained,’’ said King’oina.
He also challenged leaders to support schools with water tanks so that they improve their sanitation.
“Let leaders from both the national and county government should come up with an initiative to help schools get water tanks,’’ stated King’oina.
