Members of the Law Society of Kenya have held demonstrations across the country to protest the killing of their colleague Willie Kimani, his clients and drivers who were killed and later their bodies recovered last week.
In Kisii, the lawyers also protested towards Kisii DCIO office over torturing of their colleague Samuel Nyachae who was arrested on Thursday last week and locked in police cells up to Monday morning when he was taken to Kisii high court to be charged over fraud accusations.
Led by Samuel Ochilo a member of LSK from Nyanza chapter who is also the speaker of H/Bay County they condemned the extrajudicial killings urging the Inspector of Police to make sure that justice is done.
The members accused the inspector of police by not reacting against the police officers who were allegedly behind the killings.
“We ask for the reaction of the Inspector of Police or else we call for his resignation, we cannot keep quite when our lives are in danger,” he said.
