The Kisii County Anti-Corruption Steering Committee (KCACSC) has called upon locals to attend the International Anti-Corruption Day this Wednesday at the Gusii Stadium.
The committee says the residents can help the county government to formulate and implement anti-corruption campaign strategies, programs and activities.
Committee chairperson Joseph Tundura said the residents will be sensitised on corruption and that they will create awareness to encourage public servants and citizens to wage war against graft.
“The committee will support the county in fighting corruption because it contributes to underdevelopment,” he said.
He was speaking at Kisii Town Hall after holding a meeting with officials from the national government.
