A communication from the university's finance department on Wednesday, revealed that several students had not paid their fees in full to sit for exams raising concerns that cases of students faking documents required for sitting exams may arise.

"This office has noted that some students who have not been authorised to sit for examination end up using dubious means including faking and possessing other students' identification and examination cards," read the notice.

Steven Mokaya, the institution's chief finance officer, said that those who will be found engaging in any malpractice will face the wrath of the law.

"The university through the security department will be quick to take action on anyone who will be caught faking or owning other students' exam and identification cards," said Mokaya.

The end-of-semester examinations are scheduled to begin on November 30.
