Kisii Open Air market traders have appealed to the county government to bring back the main market to the old Kisumu stage so that they can have customers.
According to them, they lose customers since the main stage is far away from them and one cannot access their market easily because of the distance.
Speaking on Friday at the market, Meshack Yoge, one of the traders and also enforcement officer in the market, said that since the old Kisumu stage was moved, they have been encountering loses.
''When the stage used to be near our market we used to have more customers simply because they used the stage for travelling but since that time it was moved, we have been encountering loses,'' said Yoge.
Elijah Ombongi, the chairman of the market, urged the county government to consider them and bring back the stage so that they can get back their customers.
