Kisii University's assistant dean of students Bro. Francis Kerongo has called upon students who applied for higher education loans to be patient as their forms are dealt with the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Speaking to this Hivisasa writer on Friday, Bro Francis assured students who qualified for the HELB loans from the institution that they will get their disbursement in time.
"All comrades who applied for higher education loans should not worry about the messages from HELB concerning their forms. It is an automatic computer generated message to remind those who have not submitted their forms to do so," said Kerongo.
Students had become worried after receiving messages from HELB that their forms had not been submitted and that they were supposed to do so by December 30.
The loans from HELB assists students who do not have enough money to finance their studies at the higher education level.
Kerongo furher wished students happy holidays and reminded them of the official opening of next semester which will be on January 14 and 15, 2016.
