The county government of Kisii has planned an entrepreneurship conference aimed at promoting investment opportunities in the county.
Kisii Governor James Ongwae, while addressing the media at Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi on Sunday, said the Kisii Entrepreneurship Summit (KES) will provide a platform to showcase to the local, regional and international investors the existing investment and business opportunities in the county.
The event is set to be held on February 24-26 at Kisii University grounds.
During the press briefing, also attended by deputy governor Joash Maangi and Kisii Senator Chris Obure, Governor Ongwae said the county government will offer full support in the belief that it is only through public-private partnerships (PPPs), value addition, trade and investments that will enable the county become a middle-income economy.
