The Acacia Premier Hotel in Kisumu has denied allegations of the death of a Korean guest.

The hotel General Manager, Duncan Mwangi, refuted the claims. Duncan said he got a report when the man was found unconscious in the room he booked together with a colleague.
'' I want to say clearly, there were two guests who were staying in the room. When one of the guests came back to the hotel later in the evening, he found his colleague had collapsed," said Mwangi.
Mwangi stated that the colleague of the deceased called the front office which informed him of the matter. He then called a doctor who came in quickly with an ambulance. Mwangi added that by the time the doctor arrived the hotel, the guest had already passed on.
''I was with the CID and the police on the scene. It is not true to extremely or actually say that the external damages were caused by the commotion," he said.
Mwangi said that the deceased colleague is helping the police is investigating the matter.
