Kurui said on Thursday that it's the right of every citizen to register as a voter and it's not a sin for Christians to do so.

"I am saddened by the low turn out of Christians registering as voters and yet they always complain of bad governance and corruption in the government of the day. Your vote is your future," he said.

He added that taking identity cards and registering as voters, and participating in elections will guarantee them good leadership.

"Gone are the days when Christians were staying aside leaving other Kenyans to choose for them leaders, it's our turn as Christians to register as voters and choose leaders who have good morals," he said.

He also urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to fight corruption in his government and sack all corrupt individuals since they are tarnishing the name of his administration.

"It's sad that corruption has been the order of the day in the Jubilee administration and it's time President Kenyatta acts before it is too late," he said.
