Kisumu County leaders have been challenged to support their governor in executing development agendas in the county.
County clergy chairperson Ezekiel Apindi called upon leaders to work together to fast track development.
Apindi was addressing the press at Jubilee Christian Church in Kondele, Kisumu.
He said devolution will only be a success if leaders put aside their differences and work together.
He attributed the slow growth of the economy to the high number of the unemployed people in the country.
"Our leaders should work together for the sake of development, improved health care, better schools, improved infrastructure, reduced unemployment, among other things," he said.
His sentiments were echoed by Kisumu County development analysis officer Joseph Nyendo who said for the incumbent governor Jack Ranguma to execute his agenda he must have a united team behind him.
