Kisii deputy governor Joash Maangi has arrived at Naivasha to attend the Second Annual Conference on Administration of Justice.
The function is held by the Council of Governors and the National Council on the Administration of Justice, according to Maangi.
“The purpose of the conference is to discuss the state of county courts, transformation of the law through devolution and the signing of the proposed framework by all involved stakeholders in the administration of justice in the counties,” the deputy governor said in a Facebook post.
Maangi, who also doubles up as the chairman of the association of deputy governors from the 47 counties in Kenya, is representing Governor James Ongwae at the conference.
Ongwae was meeting officials from Jomo Keyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) to explore ways of teaming up to upgrade Daraja Mbili market in Kisii.
