Speaking in Mumbuni, Machakos County on Friday while donating water tanks to Mung'ala and Manza residents, Machakos County Women Representative Dr Susan Musyoka said that the governor had set a good example as the county boss and leaders should follow his example.

The women representative said that leaders should be accountable when handling public funds.

"Leaders in the county should declare their wealth as a sign of transparency and join in the fight against corruption that is spearheaded by the governor,” said Musyoka.

This comes a few days after the Machakos County Governor Dr Alfred Mutua declared his wealth and information about his bank accounts to the Ethics and Anti corruption Commission (EACC).

Dr Musyoka also said that Planning and Devolution CS Ann Waiguru should resign to pave way for investigation.
