Machakos County Maendeleo ya Wanawake chairlady Fransiscah Mutinda has vowed to support Governor Alfred Mutua in his political journey.
The chairlady urged those condemning the governor to keep off.
Speaking on Tuesday in Machakos Town, Mutinda said that it was absurd for Kamba leaders to condemn Mutua's move of launching his own party when he has the right to do so.
Mutinda said that Machakos people were tired of cheap politics and all they wanted was an eligible leader, whom they found in Mutua.
"Why is it considered wrong for a leader to form his own political party yet he is simply exercising his right,” said Mutinda.
She said the governor had created a legacy within a short time, something no other leader has been able to achieve, adding that Mutua should be given ample time to serve his people.
"It is clear Mutua has Machakos people interests at heart and people are looking upon him to continue developing the county,” she added.
