A man was on Friday arraigned before a Nakuru court over a theft of a motor vehicle.
Boniface Mutua, alongside others already in court was accused of allegedly stealing a Mercedes Benz axor valued at Sh800,000 belonging to Simon Mwangi on October 10, 2015 at Nakuru town.
The prosecution through Chief Inspector Cosmas Kinyua told the court that the matter is already in another court with suspects in custody and would wish to consolidate.
"The matter is already in another court in file number 3068/15 and is coming up for hearing, I would like to consolidate the matter," he said.
Kinyua also said that the case will be heard on December 12, 2015 before Principal Magistrate Wakumile Ndururu and urged the court to consolidate the matter and heard together.
Appearing before Senior Principal Magistrate Liz Gicheha, Mutua pleaded not guilty and prayed that the court grants him favorable bond terms that he can afford.
The court granted him a surety bond of Sh300,000 with an alternative cash bail of Sh100,000.
The case will be heard on December 12, 2015.
