A man on Monday morning committed suicide in Kibiku area in Ngong town after he stabbed his wife with a knife.
Paul Nginyo aged 45 committed the the act after he returned home at around 1 am and started to quarrel with his wife.
According to neighbors who arrived at the scene, they were awoken by crying children after the quarrel turned to screams.
The man is said to have stabbed the woman using a kitchen knife several times and later committed suicide by hanging himself using a rope.
"The deceased thought that he had killed the wife after he stabbed her several times with a knife and later hanged himself on a tree outside their compound. The woman was rushed to Kenyatta Hospital in a bad condition," said a neighbor as reported by Citizen.
