Uasin Gishu County governor has assured the county residents that his administration will support livestock farming.
Speaking on Friday morning during the commissioning of the Kapng'etung Cattle Dip in Tulwet-Chuiyat ward, Kesses constituency, Mr Mandago said his county government had subsidised the cost of Artificial Insemination (AI) services in a bid to ensure every farmer has access to quality breeds.
"We have reduced the cost of semen from Sh6,000 to Sh2,500 because we want every farmer to have access to these services and improve on their livestock production," said Mr Mandago.
