Mavoko sub-county women and youth groups had a reason to smile after area member of National Assembly Patrick Makau aided them with water storage tanks. 

100 water storage tanks were distributed on March 7, 2016 at Mavoko CDF offices. 

Speaking in the event, the mp said that he decided to do that after he realised many young people have been idling in the sub-county and went ahead to ask them to form groups based on their ages. 

He said that those tanks will be used to start a car wash business, and or irrigation /farming. 

"The reason I bought these tanks is to end idleness in my sub-county and with them, youth and women groups will boost their income," said Makau.

He urged them to make good use of them.
