If your area has not been reached, be assured you are in our plans. This was the message Governor Kinuthia Mbugua had for Nakuru residents on Tuesday further saying he is committed to making an impact in all areas without favouritism.
Speaking at the county headquarters before officially flagging of fire engines, sub-county administration inspection vehicles and ambulances, the governor affirmed his wish for a better and more developed Nakuru.
He only called for support and believes in his abilities saying an all-inclusive administration was the best solution to the problems affecting county residents.
“My government is striving to initiate, improve and maintain infrastructure and other public facilities in all corners of our county, don’t think that some areas are better than others, it’s a matter of time before you see us in your backyard,” Mbugua said.
He further called on doctors and other medics in the region to up their game so as not to witness cases of negligence that will lead to loss of innocent lives saying so far, he has managed to equip major hospitals in all sub-counties in bid to improve service delivery.
He tasked the Public Health and Sanitation department to fast track the fight against cholera and other contagious diseases, further promising them of his full support.
“My dream is to have a safe, healthy and fully productive Nakuru that will create an enabling environment for maximum performance,” the governor asserted.
The ambulances are aimed at reducing transport costs during emergencies because private ambulances were too expensive for the common mwananchi.
