Farmers in Elburgon, Nakuru county have been asked to embraced technology in their agricultural activities so as to improve on the productivity of their harvests.

Speaking on Friday when he commissioned a greenhouse technology at Talents Mission Children Home in the area, the Governor Kinuthia Mbugua said that green house was an important initiative to the farmers since it will harness integrated farming projects. These projects have for a long period proven how small scale farmers can undertake commercially oriented farming even in the face of diminishing farm lands. 

"Apart from making your farm work easier, this technology is very effective and improves the tidings of your hard work in the farm," said Governor Mbugua. 

He promised the farmers on more development like this and urged them to embrace technology and good agricultural practices in order to help make subsistence farming ventures commercially vibrant and sustainable. 

"Farming with the right tools and practices will earn you money," he advised
