Nakuru governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Friday joined family and friends of fallen Director John Mathai Baru during his burial at his farm in Kampi ya Moto Rongai.
In his address to the mourners, Mbugua described the late Baru as a resourceful person who contributed a lot in the growth of the county. He added that Baru was a strong person in his character, personality and presence.
He urged the family to be strong during this trying moment saying the county government would stand with them.
Baru who was the director of Fountain vent limited, a water drilling company in Nakuru perished in a grisly road accident.
Mbugua was accompanied by his deputy Joseph Ruto.
