Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Tuesday condoled with family, colleagues and parents of Mirera Primary School following the death of the head teacher, John Nganga.
In his address to the mourners at the school's grounds, Mbugua described Nganga as an astute leader who commanded respect from his fellow colleagues and community.
He added that Nganga was instrumental in the contribution towards education policies in the country and regretted his demise.
Nganga, who hitherto his demise through a tragic road accident on the Nakuru-Naivasha highway, was the headteacher of the school that Mbugua commissioned 17 years ago when he was the Nakuru DC.
