Robert Mbui, member of National Assembly for Kathiani sub-county was commissioned to open new school dormitory in Mbee secondary in the sub-county on Feb 29, 2016.
Speaking after handing keys to the school principal he expressed his happiness due to the fact that the project has been completed in due time and more importantly named after him.
He said that the school having been six years old has grown very first from day school to girls boarding only then to both day and boarding secondary school.
"I am so happy to hand over keys for this dormitory to school principal. I promised that the project will be completed in the right time and here it is. There are also other projects under way to expand school and construct more dormitories and by doing that, education sector in Kathiani sub-county will grow very fast and in the right manner," said Mbui.
The school was started in 2010 during the reign of Wavinya Ndeti when she was the area member of National Assembly.
Mbui challenged teachers to continue being role models to students and continue being among the best schools within the sub-county.
He also urged students to work hard in their studies as knowledge is the best thing that could ever happen to them.
