An MCA has told off Parliament Majority Leader Aden Duale over his persistent attacks on Cord Leader Raila Odinga.
Central Gem MCA Fred Odhimbo Ouda told Duale to respect the opposition leader.
He said Raila had hugely contributed to the development of the country and therefore needed respect.
Mr Ouda said Mr Duale should bear in mind the fact that the Cord leader is not his equal adding that he should let President Uhuru Kenyatta to criticise Mr Odinga.
Ouda said Odinga is a national leader and that Duale should respect that.
“If the President and his Deputy are too busy to reply to Raila's criticism, then let Kiraitu Murungi do it and not Duale,” he said.
He said Odinga has the right to put the Jubilee government in check given that there are numerous cases of scandals that have bedeviled the Jubilee government.
Speaking at a press conference in Kisumu on Friday, he also criticised the ongoing move by Deputy President William Ruto to meet various leaders especially from Western Kenya in his Sugoi home in Eldoret.
Ouda alleged that there are some county assembly speakers who are being sent messages to facilitate their members to visit DP Ruto’s home for such meetings.
