Ndalani Ward MCA Steven Muthuka, has declared his intention to propose a motion seeking to scrutinise Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's performance.

Speaking during a press conference outside his office on Thursday, Muthuka described Governor Mutua as a leader of too much talk and less action.

"Machakos county government should take a step to determine if Mutua's three-year governance is worth letting him complete his five-year term as Machakos governor,” said Muthuka.

The MCA claimed that most of the development projects that have been launched by the governor are usually left incomplete which leads to a waste of public funds.

The MCA further faulted Governor Mutua for levying corruption allegations against his fellow Ukambani leaders.

Muthuka also said that the governor should stop making development promises to other counties including Kitui and Makueni using county funds.
