Hospital Ward MCA Mwangi Wamwangi has assured residents of his ward that he is on the path to recovery after he was involved in fatal accident on Thursday last week.
Wamwangi who is still recuperating at Agha Khan Hospital, said he is optimistic that he will recover quickly and go back to serving his electorates.
"I know I will beat this. I am determined to face it head on and return strong to my family, my town and my friends," said Wamwangi on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
Wamwangi acknowledged that he had been receiving messages of good will from county leaders as well as residents.
"Thank you sons and daughters of Hospital Ward for the the prayers, kind words and love you have all showed me. As I continue to recuperate, I want to send my sincere regards and love to you all," read another post.
Kiambu County leaders who have sent their good will messages include Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, MCA Karungo Thang'wa, MCA Kennedy Mwangi among others.
"I take this opportunity to wish Hospital Ward MCA Mwangi Wamwani alias Jbee a quick recovery following an accident on Thursday," read a post on Kabogo's Facebook page.
