Two members of county Assembly from Kiambu county have said that proper consultations need to be done before Jubilee party affiliates are dissolved.

Hospital ward MCA Mwangi Wamwangi and his nominated counterpart Florence Njeri said that extensive consultations involving grass root leaders should be done first before affiliate parties are dissolved.

They told the press from Thika main and Women Prison on Tuesday that the next general elections were only a year away and proper arrangements should be put in place to ensure that Jubilee won the elections.

Wamwangi said that dissolving affiliate parties should be done in such a way that leaders and members of affiliate parties will be accommodated in the Jubilee alliance.

Njeri, who is popularly known as Flozzy and who is eyeing the MP’s seat in Thika town come 2017 said that democracy should be left to thrive by accommodating views from all affiliate parties in the country.

She,however, added that she will only join the party if the complications are resolved completely.

“I am willing to join the party that the President will vie come 2017 but the challenges being experienced should be resolved immediately to avoid any loopholes for the weakening of the alliance before the general elections,” she said.

During the event, the two used the platform to lure the voters to support them in the oncoming elections.
