Benson started painting as a young boy, back then, it was just a hobby. In 2008, he decided to turn his passion into an income generating venture. As he paints, he envisions a world of his own surrounded by color. His inspiration is from everyday life, he is also enchanted by nature.
Although he admits that he loves painting landscape, Benson has an array of paintings from portraits to abstracts.
He urges the youth to stop waiting for employment and start creating it: “My fellow youth should focus on their talent. God has bestowed on everyone different talents and our talent will take us places.”
When it comes to pricing, the range is affordable and depends on the size of the painting and material used, the highest price being six thousand shillings.
His art speaks of perfection, but just like any budding entrepreneur, he faces challenges. His major challenge is finances but he believes that one day he will own a gallery of his own.
