MP Jacob Macharia has called on residents to ensure they register as voters.
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is registering voters in all the wards ahead of the 2017 elections.
Macharia, speaking on Tuesday, said it is the right of everyone to ensure they register as voters and participate in voting.
The legislator, however, decried over the low turnout.
"Since Monday registration of voters have been very low with some stations registering 3 voters per day, and this is a worrying trend since we have many illegible voters that are not yet registered. I urge all constituents to register to vote and for those registered to ensure they motivate those not registered to do so,” the MP said.
