Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has yet again been slammed by a member of county assembly of Nyamira over alleged discrimination and exclusion of area leaders from matters development.

Mr Bosire is said to be in loggerheads from at least five of the six MCAs from his constituency with Magombo MCA reportedly the only one closely working with the OD MP.

Speaking in his Rigoma backyard on Friday, Rigoma MCA Ben Sironga yet again took on the MP accusing him of favoring a certain section of the constituency.

“The MP runs the CDF kitty and has never even consulted elected leaders from the region when initiating projects. He has continued to neglect some areas and this isn’t the first time we are raising the issue. Politics of discrimination belongs to the past and this is the time the MP should incorporate all leaders in initiating development,” he said.

Sironga alleged that the MP has been favouring resident of Manga, Magombo and Kemera wards leaving Gesima, Rigoma and Gachuba wards in his development plans.

“He only works at the lower Kitutu area and has persistently ignored the upper region. This is a wakeup call for him to rectify his leadership style,” he said.

However, efforts to reach Mr Bosire were not fruitful since he could neither respond to calls or texts but his close ally and personal assistant, Mr Justus Omiti, defended the MP, accusing the MCA of trying to settle personal scores with the lawmaker.

“Sironga has always been in the fore front fighting g the MP. However, I would like to urge him to visit the list of schools and children who have received funding from CDF kitty in the last two years before he accuses the MP,” he said.
