Mbui was speaking on January 29 in DC's office in Kathiani sub-county headquarters where he had met with the DC, chiefs and their assistants.

This was after Kaviani residents raised alarm over increased insecurity in the area.

On Wednesday night, a man was butchered by a bodaboda operator in that area who has not yet been arrested.

He said that all chiefs and assistant chiefs should unite with residents and together help fight criminal activities in the area.

Mbui said that all bodaboda operators within his constituency should be investigated and ensured that they all have driving licences which he stated that some don't have.

"Together with your help, I am sure this problem that has been going on in my sub-county will come to an end.

All bodaboda operators should meet with their chairman to get a solution to the problem because as Kathiani leader, I can't watch my people get killed," said Mbui.

He further stated that anyone suspected to a thief should be arrested immediately so that his or her investigations can be carried out.
