Speaking in Molo town Thursday, Mututho said his four rivals for the county boss position are either non-starters or simply outsiders who should go back and vie from the regions they come from.

The four include the National Transport and Safety Authority chairman Lee Kinyanjui, the former Transition Authority boss Kinuthia wa Mwangi, Senator James Mungai and current Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.

Mututho claimed Kinyanjui is an outsider while Wa Mwangi had failed to contain the huge wage bill during his tenure at the transition body and therefore cannot be trusted with the plum position.

At the same time the former Naivasha MP requested the Kalenjin community to forward to him a list of 12 women aged between 21-35 so that he could pick from them a suitable running mate, adding it would be a great injustice to have a fellow granny like himself for a deputy.

He said it was pretty obvious that Nakuru County should have a Kalenjin deputy.
