Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua came face to face with his critic and opponent Nacada Chairman John Mututho.

Mututho has been hitting out at the governor accusing him of incompetence and mismanagement of county resources.

Mututho has also vowed to unseat Kinuthia.

The two met at Stem Hotel during an event where a Nakuru-based artist was launching her CD.

Those in attendance expected a tense moment; however, the two politicians conducted themselves in a cool manner praising each other.

The race for Nakuru County's next boss is expected to be a two-horse race between Mututho and Kinuthia.
