Kinuthia Mbugua has said his government has set aside Sh30 million for the rehabilitation and expansion of the Nakuru theatre.
Speaking in Lanet over the weekend, Mbugua said each ward has been allocated Sh500,000 for sports and Sh30 million would be used to upgrade the theatre for thespians.
"The county government has set aside Sh30m for the expansion of theatre. The government has also set aside Sh500,000 for sports for every ward in Nakuru county," said Mbugu during ward visits.
Mbugua said a committee has been formed to oversee the renovation of the theatre.
"The committee have been formed to make sure the theatre is renovated and rehabilitated," said the governor.
He said the county government recently signed a Sh38million commercial infrastructure MOU with youth enterprise fund that will be used to empower the youths in the county.
