Other than being famed for its beautiful flamingos, Nakuru is also a town with several places where children can have fun.

These spots are mostly filled on Sundays, a time when parents are off duty and children out of school. This is also the time that is considered as family time.

Other than these places being fun for kids, some are also segmented in such a way that adults can also have fun.

They include:

1) Oloika Country Lodge

Situated 1.5km past Kabarak University, the lodge contains a fun zone for children where they have a variety of funfair such as the bouncy castles, boat riding, swings, swimming and merry-go-round among other options. However, one needs to have a personal car or hire one to access the lodge and leave at your own convenience.

2) Stem Hotel

Located on the Nakuru-Nairobi highway, the hotel is a few minutes’ drive from Nakuru town and a two-hour drive from Nairobi. It contains a number of facilities that can be enjoyed by children such as swings and slides among other facilities.

3) Hotel Kunste

The hotel is located off the Trans African Highway on the outskirts of Nakuru town. It contains a lunar park which has family entertainment facilities such as bouncy castles, motor bike rides, swings, horse riding and slides among other fun facilities for the children as well as those who are young at heart.

4) Kivu Resort

It is located 100 meters from Lake Nakuru National Park. The resort has a swimming pool and a kids park which is full of bicycles and in addition, it has a bouncy castle and trampoline among other fun facilities for the young.

It is important to note that anyone planning to take their children to these places should have enough money to ensure that their children have a good time.

The charges at these places are pocket friendly and one is guaranteed to have  awesome time.
