Majority of the students who were making into their hostels to pick up their valuables after the institution was closed indefinitely owing to the damage brought about by the inconvenience noted that the strike was fueled by a series of failed promises from their management.

"Our dining hall is one of the most dilapidated halls as compared to other institutions, in fact it is a health hazard in itself," noted Fauzia Nasur, a third year nursing student at the institution.

The hall was fitted with free WI-FI connection something the students says has never served its purpose.

"The cables are hanging, benches broken, and the available space is not equivalent to our number, we raised the issue but from last term, nothing has been done," said Joseph Rapugo, a student leader.

The students disconnected electricity, broke into the dinning hall store and destroyed feed stuffs of unknown value while others broke into the cash office and stole an undisclosed some of money.

The institutions management has so far not commended on the issue as they were locked up in a closed door meeting the whole day with everybody awaiting an official communique before close of business on Monday or earlier on Tuesday but many students chose to stay away from the collages today with others travelling home saying that the school will be closed indefinitely.
