Daraja United Women and Youth Empowerment Organisation Chief Executive Officer Winfridah Abuya has said they would be engaged in provision of quality reproductive health services and family planning through organising of training.
Addressing the press on Saturday in her office, the CEO said they would incorporate men in the family planning campaign.
She said the organisation is collaborating with ten community-based organisations to give service to the people.
Ms Abuya said: “We are empowering women and the youth through organising reproductive health training and establishment of youth friendly corners in each of the 10 community based organisations that are providing health services related to reproductive.”
She said they would carry out community outreach programmes in Kisii County and other parts of the country, to help improve community participation on sexual reproductive health project.
The NGO proprietor said they have established a patient support centre on women empowerment in all community based organisations across the county.
“We are conducting advocacy forums to increase support for sexual and reproductive health rights including family planning. Our mothers at village level will also benefit from the service in our organisations across the county."
Ms Abuya appealed for support from the government and sponsors to enable the organisation help the vulnerable in the society.
