Students of A.I.C Katwanyaa mixed day and boarding secondary school in Matungulu sub-county were overjoyed on March 3, 2016 after their new school recorded a great improvement from last years results.
Since the school began seven years ago, candidates have been recording small improvements until 2015 when the mean score rose from 5.9 to 6.8.
According to the school principal Patrick Mwongela the good performance resulted from teamwork among all workers.
He was speaking from his office in the school on March 4.
"My students are self-driven. Since the school started, students have been recording consistent improvements. Together with my team, we are looking forward to getting a mean score of above 9.0 come 2017 when KCSE results for 2016 will be announced," said Mwongela.
He urged other schools within the sub-county and Machakos county at large to embrace teamwork, hard work and discipline in order to attain exemplary results.
