Over 20 needy form one aspiring students from Gatundu North sub county will be boosted by a local N.G.O as they join their next stage in basic education.

"The Kshs. 500, 000 shillings that we’ve set aside will be a relief to vulnerable students whose parents cannot pay school fees to allow them to continue with secondary school education," he said.
"We are only supplementing the county government, Constituency Development Funds and the Ministry of Education bursary funds so that more needy students are assisted to enable them acquire higher education," he added.
He revealed that the N.G.O will be working in consultation with other bursary committees like CDF, Ministry of Education and county government to avoid duplication in the funding.
"I would like to call upon the school head teachers and the area local administrators to always assist in identifying the most deserving students so that they get the necessary support for their education from various willing entities," he said.
Matemo urged parents of the expected beneficiaries to ensure that they provide their children with a conducive learning environment to enable them achieve good grades.
