Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri is leading a meeting of MPs from Narok, Kajiado and Nakuru in an effort to address the land wrangles pitting communities in the region.

According to Joe Ngugi, Bahati MPs handler, Ngunjiri will lead the MPs in a consultative meeting meant to solve issues of land that have hit Naivasha.

“Several MPs from the surrounding areas, including those from Nakuru, Kajiado and Narok counties are on the way to Naivasha where they are expected to issue a joint statement over recent attacks,” Ngugi said.

This follows a clash between two communities in the area at the Utheri wa Lari land on Tuesday.

Two people were injured during the scuffle and hospitalized.
