Kiambu County MP Annah Nyokabi has called on men in Kiambu to support women in their leadership ambitions.

Nyobabi was speaking at Kiambu PCEA church where she meet with community leaders from Kiambu, Githunguri and Kiambaa constituencies to raise awareness on Women fund.

Nyokabi claimed many women don't join politics as their husbands are opposed to it.

"I want to call on men in Kiambu to stop thinking that if women get these seats they will be the head of the families. No that’s not the case, being a leader in politics doesn’t mean we are leaders in the house.The role of leadership in the house is for a man and that’s God's will that we cant take,’’ said Nyokabi.
