ODM party leaders should accept the defection of members from the party.
In the past few days we have witnessed ODM party members exit the party.
The leaders leaving ODM should be allowed to go as they were allowed into the party.
Accusations on such leaders of having been bribed by the ruling party Jubilee will not the solve the party issues.
Each and every person has a right to choose the right political party he/she should be associated with.
As ODM members exit, there are others who are willing to join the party.
Recently, during a 5 day rally to Western region by ODM party leader Raila Odinga, a section of MCAs from Kakamega county announce joining ODM party from their parties they were elected on in 2013.
Raila received them warmly into the party. For this therefore, he should allow those willing to leave the party to leave peacefully without accusing them of betraying the party.
ODM should concentrate on party matters ahead of 2017 and campaign on a development record and not spearheading propaganda that so and so is betraying the party by being bribed as we witnessed during the resignation of ODM secretary general, Ababu Namwamba.
