The Oshwal Education and Relief Board in association with the Higher Education Loans Board is inviting eligible students to apply for scholarships for the 2015-16 financial year.
According to Helb, the scholarship will fund 10 students for the total tenure of study, for undergraduate degree programmes.
Eligible candidates must be Kenyans and have obtained a mean grade of B+ or above, with at least B plain in English and Mathematics.
Moreover, the funds support needy entrants in local universities, to a maximum of Sh100, 000 per year.
However, the scholarship will only finance courses in business studies and management, fine arts, political science, law, architecture, information systems and technology, environmental studies, agriculture, economics, pharmacy, nursing and engineering.
Application forms are downloaded from the Helb website and the deadline for submissions is April 8.
The announcement comes at a time when the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination results are expected to be released later this month.
