Parents of Timoo Primary school in Marishoni, Molo want the Ministry of Education to transfer teachers in the school following poor performance in last year's KCPE examinations.

The parents threatened to withdraw their children from the school.

According to the parents, the school had recorded poor performance in the examination an indication that no serious learning was taking place there.

The irate parents pointed out that more than 20 students who sat for their KCPE last year got below 100 marks in their final examinations.

“Our children have continued to lag behind and yet this had been a good school previously. We want to know why the school was suddenly one of the worst performing in the country,” said Elizabeth Mwaniki, a representative of the parents.

Peter Kimani demanded for investigation into the school funds saying that the cash was being misused instead of helping in the proper management of the school.

Attempts by this reporter to get comment from the school administration were futile as all teachers declined to respond to the parents' concerns.
