St Mary’s Tala town Catholic Parish priest Fr David Muvaa with his committee have today invited all Christians in the area to attend a special opening mass ceremony on Saturday as he officially opens the new St Anthony Catholic church in Ngomeni.
Speaking at the St Mary's Catholic church during a morning mass, Muvaa urged all Christians to turn up in large numbers and continue preaching the gospel to all those who want to seek the Kingdom of God.
"I am happy that we will have a new branch at Ngomeni. This will be the second church to open in two years. It is really a blessing to the people," said Muvaa.
He further urged all leaders in the region to support the church in its development projects saying that they are a blessing to the community.
The Christians vowed to continue serving the church by attending to all church ceremonies promising maximum cooperation with the church leaders.
Fr Muvaa will crown the occasion on Saturday and is set to offer prayers to Ngomeni residents and also pray for the sick in the area.
