A Nakuru pastor has hit on politicians who utter incitement and tribal remarks in public.
Jubilee Christian Church Nakuru Pastor Andrew Mwangi accused some politicians of dividing Kenyans along tribal lines.
“Kenyans should understand that we are one. If we all start tracing our origins we would end up at the Garden of Eden. Before God's eyes we are all equal and politicians should not make us forget that fact,” said Pastor Mwangi.
He challenged christians to be ambassadors of unity.
“We should be at the forefront of ensuring that peace and unity is upheld in the country,” he added
He added: “Kenyans have to realise that their unity as a country is of more importance. Even before and after the elections, Kenya will still need peace ambassadors.”
He was speaking during the ninth anniversary of the church at the Patel Brotherhood Sanctuary, attended by thousands of faithfuls.
“It’s a time to celebrate God's faithfulness and how far we have come as a church. We thank God for His mercy and His great help since we started reaching out to the residents of Nakuru,” said his wife, Pastor Cathy Mwangi
